Showglobe
Terms of Use
Effective October 3, 2026
Showglobe is where you find what’s on, make your own events, invite people and bring them together, whether it’s a birthday, a house show, a tour or a night out. These terms are the rules for using it. By creating an account or using Showglobe you agree to them. When they say “we”, that’s Showglobe.
Who can use Showglobe
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- If you are under the age of legal adulthood where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission.
- You can look around without an account, and where an organizer allows it you can comment or RSVP as a guest.
- To post, message or sell tickets you need an account. Sign in with Apple, with Google, or with an email address and a password. Keep your sign-in to yourself: you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One account can run several profiles, for example yourself, your band and the venue you book. Don’t pretend to be a person, group or place you don’t represent.
Your content stays yours
You own the photos, video, music, events, comments and everything else you post. We don’t claim ownership of any of it.
To run the service we need your permission to store your content, make the copies and sizes needed to display it, and show it to the people you have chosen to show it to. You give us that permission, worldwide and free of charge, for as long as the content is on Showglobe. It ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies other people have already shared or saved.
Post things that are yours to share. If you upload music or video someone else made, make sure you’re allowed to.
What is not allowed
Every kind of event and every kind of show is welcome, including performance made for adults: burlesque, drag, cabaret. What we don’t allow is abuse of other people, or any of the following. Don’t use Showglobe to post, send or promote:
- Harassment, bullying, threats or stalking.
- Hate speech, or attacks on people for who they are.
- Sexual content involving minors, or any sexual content shared without consent.
- Explicit sex acts.
- Graphic violence posted to shock.
- Anything illegal, or anything that helps someone break the law.
- Spam, scams, fake events, fake tickets or fake accounts.
- Someone else’s private information.
- Content that infringes someone else’s copyright or trademark.
You also may not:
- Break into, overload or scrape the service, or get around its limits and blocks.
- Come back under a new account after being removed.
Reporting and blocking
- Report a comment or an RSVP. Open the menu on it and choose Report.
- Report a profile. Use the Claims and reports page.
- Block a profile. Go to Profile, open the Account tab and use Blocked profiles. You can also block from a chat. You stop seeing messages and invites from someone you have blocked, they cannot find that profile in search, comment on your events, tag you or add you as a collaborator, and their RSVPs are hidden on your events.
- On your own events. Organizers can hide or delete comments and RSVPs, and block the people or guests who posted them.
- Anything else. Write to support@showglobe.app.
We review reports within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these rules, and we remove the accounts of people who break them. We can do either without notice.
Tickets and payments
Events and their tickets are offered by the event’s organizer, who sets the price and is responsible for the event itself. Showglobe is not the organizer.
When you buy a ticket on Showglobe, the payment is processed by Stripe. We collect it through Stripe and pass the organizer’s share on to them. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach our servers.
Questions about an event, including a cancellation or a refund, go to the organizer first. If you cannot reach them, write to us.
Some events link to another ticket seller. A purchase there is between you and that seller.
Listings
Event and venue listings come from organizers, from people who use Showglobe and from public sources. Dates, times and lineups change. Check with the venue or the organizer before you travel.
Leaving, and being removed
You can stop using Showglobe at any time, and you can delete your account from the Account tab of your profile. Our Privacy Policy says what deleting removes.
We can remove content, or suspend or close an account, when these terms are broken or when we need to protect other people or the service.
The service is provided as is
Showglobe is provided as is and as available. We work to keep it running and correct, but we do not promise it will always be available, free of errors or secure against every problem, and we make no other warranties about it.
As far as the law allows, Showglobe is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what other people post, do or fail to do, including an organizer who changes or cancels an event.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is a big one, we will say so in the app or by email. Using Showglobe after a change means you accept the new terms.
